With a full schedule of entertainment and activities, you'll want to stay the entire day. Make sure to show up early, as the first 50 guests receive a goodie bag. Participate in the scavenger hunt to win prizes and ensure you spend the time to explore everything going on at this exciting festival.

North Florida Fair

Date: Nov. 3 to 13.

Time: Gates open at 5 p.m. on weekdays and noon on weekends.

Location: 441 E. Paul Russell Road, Tallahassee.

You're not going to want to miss the 80th Annual North Florida Fair. From good food to family-friendly entertainment, this fair has it all. Gate admission is free for all on opening night, but you can get great deals throughout the fair schedule at certain times and days. For example, Saturday, Nov. 5, features Youth Day, where children ages 12 and younger get in free from noon to 2 p.m.

Children ages 5 and younger are always free, and if you arrive on carload night, you can get a car of up to eight people in for only $60, including unlimited rides on the midway. Parking is also free every day, so you have no excuse not to go. If you want to stay for a couple of days, consider renting one of the 450 RV campsites so you can be close to all the action.

Bradley's Fun Day

Date: Nov. 19.

Time: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Location: 10655 Centerville Road, Tallahassee.

Admission: Free.

Held every year on the Sunday just before Thanksgiving, Bradley's Fun Day is a family-friendly festival that's entertaining for young and old alike. Hosting its 51st annual event this year, you can be sure that Bradley's Fun Day will become a tradition for your family if it isn't already. Live music, clogging, cane grinding, syrup making, and wagon rides are just some exciting things to see and do at this festival.

The kids will love the petting zoo area and pony rides, while the adults can peruse the art and craft booths for unique gifts. There will be over 100 stands, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes as you check out all those businesses have to offer. You'll also be able to find various food from different vendors when you're ready for a bite.
